Guidelines for Visitation of Residents

We are able to allow in-person visitation in a designated outdoor visitation space for you and your loved one.  There are specific measures that we ask you follow in order for us to provide a safe atmosphere for all.  These include:

  • Calling ahead to schedule a time for the designated outdoor spaces

  • Residents must be wearing a cloth face covering, as long as it does not cause trouble breathing and the resident is able to remove the mask themselves.  If unable, a face shield will be provided for the resident to wear as an alternative to a face mask for their visit.

  • Visitors must wear a face covering or mask for the duration of the visit.  If you do not have a mask, we will provide you with one.  We reserve the right to refuse any visitor that neglects to comply with our policy regarding face masks.

  • No meals or snacks are permitted during the visit as this would require the removal of the face mask.

  • Proper Hand Hygiene (Hand Sanitizer as an alternative to warm water and soap)

  • 6 feet of physical distancing MUST be maintained during the visit.

  • Visitors are limited to no more than two individuals per visit

  • Facility will screen visitors for fever or respiratory symptoms.  Any individuals with symptoms of COVID-19 infection will not be permitted to visit.

  • Children must be supervised at all times, maintain social distancing, and wear a face covering when age appropriate.

Guidelines for Outside Food and Supplies (Take out, flowers, groceries, resident supplies, etc)

Current Data suggests that COVID-19 is primarily spread by person-to-person transmission and risk from objects is low.  Therefore, outside food and supplies will be permitted as long as hand hygiene is performed before and after handling the packaging.
